Kitchen Staff

A kitchen helper performs basic culinary and cleaning duties to support a professional kitchen, including prepping ingredients like washing and chopping vegetables, washing dishes and equipment, maintaining the cleanliness of the work area and floors, stocking supplies, and taking out the trash. They work under the supervision of chefs and cooks, ensuring food safety standards are met and assisting with other tasks as needed to keep the kitchen organized and functional. Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Food Preparation:
• Washing, peeling, chopping, and slicing ingredients like vegetables, fruits, and some meats.
• Assisting with mixing ingredients for dishes such as salads.
• Portioning and wrapping food items.
• Preparing food items for cooking, following standard recipes.
• Cleaning & Sanitation:
• Washing dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils.
• Cleaning and sanitizing work surfaces, cutting boards, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, and ceilings.
• Sweeping and mopping floors.
• Disposing of kitchen waste, including taking out the trash and replacing garbage bags.
• Kitchen Operations:
• Assisting with receiving and storing food and supply deliveries.
• Organizing and stocking food and kitchen supplies.
• Monitoring food inventory levels.
• Setting up and breaking down kitchen workstations.
• Plating and garnishing dishes before serving.
• Assisting with bussing tables and clearing dining areas.
• Support and Adherence to Standards:
• Supporting chefs and cooks by performing tasks as directed.
• Following all food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
• Working collaboratively with other kitchen staff.
• Maintaining a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 per month
