Role & responsibilities Client Relationship Management Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their logistics and supply chain needs. Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned key accounts, providing regular updates and managing inquiries. Act as the trusted advisor, helping clients optimize their logistics operations to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Account Development and Growth Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional logistics services such as transportation, warehousing, or supply chain management. Develop and execute account strategies to drive revenue growth and ensure client retention. Understand clients short-term and long-term goals and align company offerings to support those objectives. Logistics Coordination and Management Work closely with internal teams (operations, customer service, warehousing, transportation) to ensure smooth execution of logistics services for key accounts. Oversee the execution of service agreements and ensure the highest level of service is consistently delivered. Monitor service performance, identify areas of improvement, and work on continuous process optimization to meet client expectations. Contract Negotiation and Management Negotiate and finalize contracts with key clients, ensuring mutually beneficial terms while protecting company interests. Manage contract renewals and amendments as required. Problem Solving and Conflict Resolution Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by key clients in a timely and professional manner. Act as an escalation point for any service failures, working closely with internal teams to resolve issues and maintain client satisfaction. Reporting and Data Analysis Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports on account performance, including service levels, delivery times, and cost efficiency. Analyze account performance data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for better service delivery. Market and Industry Knowledge Stay informed about the latest trends in logistics, transportation, and supply chain management to provide valuable insights to clients. Conduct competitive analysis to identify potential threats and opportunities within the logistics sector. Collaboration Work closely with the sales team to identify new business opportunities within existing key accounts.
