Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Junior Web Developer (HTML/CSS) located in Ahmedabad. The Junior Web Developer will be responsible for building and maintaining websites, ensuring they are visually appealing, user-friendly, and functional. Daily tasks will include coding in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, collaborating with designers to implement design mockups, troubleshooting and debugging issues, and ensuring website optimization and responsiveness.

Responsibilities

• Assist in converting PSD or design files into responsive HTML layouts
• Develop basic web pages with a mobile-first approach
• Collaborate with senior developers to maintain and update existing websites
• Help optimize websites for speed and performance
• Support in creating simple mockups or prototypes
• Follow design guidelines and ensure consistency with brand standards
• Learn and stay updated with emerging HTML/CSS techniques

Requirements

• Basic understanding of HTML5 and CSS3
• Familiarity with JavaScript and jQuery (a plus, not mandatory)
• Some exposure to responsive web design practices
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced development environment
• Knowledge of any design tools like Adobe Photoshop, XD, or Figma (preferred)
• Attention to detail and willingness to follow instructions
• Basic understanding of how websites work across different browsers/devices
