Junior Testing Engineer

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Testing Engineer with 6 months or 1 year of hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate should possess a solid understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC), test case design, defect reporting, and proficiency in using testing tools and frameworks. You will collaborate closely with development teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. This role offers the opportunity to work on real-time projects, enhance test strategies, and contribute to continuous improvement in product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform manual testing to identify software issues and ensure quality standards.
• Develop and execute test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios for various applications.
• Assist in the implementation of automation testing frameworks and scripts.
• Collaborate with developers to understand requirements and troubleshoot issues.
• Document testing processes, results, and identified bugs effectively.
• Conduct regression, functional, and performance testing.
• Ensure timely communication of testing updates and issues to the team.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 6 months to 1 year of hands-on experience in manual and automation testing.

Required Skills:

• Solid understanding of testing methodologies, STLC, and defect lifecycle.
• Experience with testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, Cypress, Postman, or equivalent.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
• Good understanding of API testing, regression testing, and test case design.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
