Junior Testing Engineer

Role Overview: As a Junior Testing Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, stability, and performance of the products by utilizing your expertise in both manual and automated testing. Your responsibilities will include designing test strategies, executing test cases, automating regression suites, and collaborating closely with the development team to deliver high-quality software. Key Responsibilities: - Review requirements and technical specifications to design effective test plans and scenarios. - Execute manual testing for functional, regression, and integration testing. - Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, or equivalent. - Perform API testing (e.g., Postman, REST Assured) and basic database testing (SQL queries). - Identify, log, and track defects using issue-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla). - Conduct smoke, sanity, performance, and usability testing as required. - Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and review sessions as part of the Agile/Scrum process. - Provide detailed test reports and feedback to stakeholders. - Collaborate with developers and business teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
