Junior Tester

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist in the design and execution of test cases for validating data flows, transformations, and reports.

* Perform data validation and verification using SQL and other tools.

* Identify data inconsistencies, missing values, and quality issues across datasets.

* Support testing activities related to data integration, migration, and ETL pipelines.

* Work with the Data Engineering team to troubleshoot and resolve defects.

* Document test results and maintain clear records of testing activities.

* Participate in QA reviews, stand-up meetings, and sprint planning sessions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.

* 0–1 year of experience in data testing, QA, or related internships/projects.

* Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases.

* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

* Good communication and teamwork abilities.

* Willingness to learn and grow in a data-focused environment.

* Exposure to data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.

* Familiarity with any programming language (e.g., Python).

* Understanding of data warehouses, ETL processes, or cloud platforms.
