Job Description

About The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Tester to join our Quality Assurance team. As a Junior Tester, you will assist in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products by executing test cases, reporting bugs, and collaborating with developers and senior testers.

Responsibilities

Execute manual and automated test cases as per test plans
Identify, document, and report bugs and issues using tracking tools (e.g., JIRA)
Review requirements and specifications to ensure test coverage
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and senior QA team members
Perform regression, functional, and usability testing
Assist in preparing test data and test environments
Participate in team meetings and provide feedback on product quality
Learn and apply new testing tools and methodologies

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Basic understanding of software development and testing concepts
Familiarity with any bug tracking and test management tools
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with any programming language or automation tools is a plus
Prior internship or experience in software testing is desirable
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
