Junior Technical Support Engineer

As a Junior Technical Support Engineer at our company, your role will involve monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting production systems running Ruby and Node.js applications across EC2 and Kubernetes environments. You will play a crucial part in ensuring system stability and quick incident resolution. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor applications and infrastructure using Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki. - Respond promptly to production alerts, logs, and performance anomalies. - Conduct basic log analysis and escalate issues as necessary. - Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to comprehend application behavior and deployment structure. - Assist with basic system operations and routine maintenance. - Document common issues, resolutions, and troubleshooting steps. - Support deployment verification and post-release monitoring. Qualifications Required: - Basic understanding of Linux systems and command-line tools. - Familiarity with log analysis using tools like Loki or similar. - Basic knowledge of Grafana and Prometheus. - Understanding of how web applications work (HTTP, REST APIs). - Ability to read and understand logs and stack traces. - Good troubleshooting mindset. - Strong communication and documentation skills.
