Junior Security Specialist

Role Overview:

The Junior Security Specialist (JSS) will assist in maintaining a secure and safe environment at the client site by supporting daily operations, following standard security protocols, and coordinating with the Security Specialist (SS) and other team members. The JSS acts as the first level of response for physical security duties on the job floor and supports the execution of all assigned tasks in alignment with site security policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Security Specialist in managing the job floor and implementing security protocols.
• Monitor the movement of employees, visitors, materials, and vehicles at designated checkpoints.
• Support in ensuring the safety of company property, assets, and personnel.
• Conduct routine patrolling of the premises and promptly report any suspicious activity or security concerns.
• Maintain registers and logbooks as per security standards and audit requirements.
• Operate and monitor surveillance systems, access control, and safety equipment as assigned.
• Assist in enforcing entry/exit procedures and material gate pass validations.
• Follow instructions during emergency scenarios and support evacuation or emergency protocols as directed.
• Ensure key and inventory control measures are adhered to and report discrepancies to the Security Specialist.
• Maintain a professional appearance and polite demeanor while dealing with employees, clients, and visitors.
• Attend daily briefings and be aware of daily deployment and attendance protocols.
• Promptly report any shortages, absenteeism, or irregularities to the Security Specialist or supervisor.
• Be alert to crowd control needs and support the patrolling team to ensure floor discipline.

Emergency Preparedness:

The JSS should be familiar with and capable of responding to:

• Emergency response procedures
• Fire alarm and evacuation protocols
• Bomb threat awareness
• Basic law enforcement coordination

Eligibility Criteria:

• Experience:

  24 years in physical security or related field

• Qualification:

  Minimum Graduate

• Communication Skills:

  Good verbal and Written communication.
