Job Description

As a Junior Sales Engineer specializing in Cloud & Disaster Recovery, you play a crucial role in understanding and addressing the technical needs of clients in the ever-evolving digital landscape. Your responsibilities include: - Assisting in developing and implementing sales strategies for cloud and disaster recovery products. - Collaborating with senior sales engineers to create technical presentations and product demonstrations. - Responding to technical inquiries from clients and prospects regarding cloud solutions. - Engaging with potential customers to assess their business needs and offer tailored advice. - Researching market trends to identify new sales opportunities. - Crafting detailed technical proposals that meet client requirements. - Participating in client meetings to present cloud and disaster recovery solutions. - Supporting the sales team by providing technical insights during client negotiations. - Assisting in post-sale support to ensure client satisfaction and retention. - Maintaining relationships with clients post-sales to uncover additional opportunities. - Conducting demonstrations of cloud and disaster recovery technologies. - Documenting sales activities and maintaining client interaction records. - Attending industry events and networking opportunities to showcase the company's offerings. - Collaborating with marketing teams to ensure messaging and campaigns are aligned. - Staying abreast of product knowledge and industry changes related to cloud computing. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. - Prior sales or technical support experience, preferably in cloud computing. - Strong grasp of cloud computing concepts and disaster recovery solutions. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical clients. - Proficiency in presentation and office applications. - Familiarity with CRM software and sales management tools. - Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. - Experience in market research and competitive analysis. - Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills. - Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and presentations. - Passion for technology and a drive to stay informed about industry advancements. - Customer-facing experience is preferred. - Certification in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a bonus. - Basic understanding of networking principles is advantageous.
