Job Description

1. Patient Care

Provide 24-hour medical coveremergency careand routine medical services to all inpatients and outpatients as required.
Assessdiagnoseand manage patients admitted under various specialties.
Monitor and record the progress of patientsmaking treatment adjustments as necessary.
Respond promptly to all medical emergencies (e.g.cardiac arresttraumaanaphylaxis).
Ensure continuity of care by updating consultants and nursing staff on patient status.

2. Clinical Documentation

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient recordschartsand discharge summaries.
Document all treatmentsproceduresand observations in accordance with hospital policies.
Ensure consent forms are properly completed before procedures.

3. Coordination Communication

Liaise with consultantsnursing staffand allied health professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
Attend and participate in ward rounds and clinical meetings.
Communicate effectively with patients and their families about treatment plans and progress.

4. Compliance Quality Assurance

Adhere to hospital protocolsinfection control guidelinesand clinical safety standards.
Participate in auditsmorbidity and mortality meetingsand continuous medical education (CME).
Report incidentsadverse eventsor near misses promptly to the appropriate authority.

5. Administrative Duties

Assist in the admission and discharge processincluding completion of relevant documentation.
Supervise and mentor junior doctorsinternsand medical students as required.
Contribute to policy development and implementation related to patient care.
