Junior Resident

Qualification: MBBS & Permanent registration with Medical Council of India or recognised state medical councils. Roles & Responsibilities: Patient care: Perform initial assessments, take detailed histories, conduct physical examinations, and formulate provisional diagnoses and treatment plans. Monitor admitted patients closely. Maintain daily progress notes, manage medications, fluid balance, and consult other specialties when needed. Attend to emergency calls, triage patients, manage acute cases, and assist in resuscitation etc. Ward rounds: Participate actively in daily rounds with Senior Doctors. Present cases clearly and concisely. Note down instructions/ orders and ensure they are executed promptly. Follow up on lab reports, imaging, and clinical progress. Update case sheets and maintain accurate documentation. On-call duties: Work in shifts, attend to new admissions, and manage any acute changes in patient conditions. Procedures: Perform basic procedures, under supervision if required.
