Junior Resident

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological assessments of cancer patients to evaluate emotionalcognitiveand behavioral functioning.
• Provide individualf amilyand group psychotherapy to patients and caregivers throughout the cancer care continuum (diagnosis treatment survivorship palliative care).
• Develop and implement tailored psychological treatment plans that address distress anxiety depression body image issuesand adjustment difficulties.
• Collaborate with oncologistsnursessocial workersand palliative care teams to integrate psychological support into the overall treatment plan.
• Offer crisis intervention and grief counseling when needed.
• Participate in case conferencesmultidisciplinary roundsand care planning meetings.
• Design and deliver psycho-educational programs for patientsfamiliesand staff.
• Contribute to researchquality improvement initiativesand evidence-based practice in psycho-oncology.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with ethical and institutional standards.
