About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Proposal & RFP Analyst to support the preparation of proposals, tenders and responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs). The ideal candidate will be responsible for reading and understanding RFP documents, extracting key requirements and assisting in drafting structured, high-quality proposal content. This role is essential in supporting the business development team and ensuring timely, compliant and compelling submissions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, analyse and interpret RFPs, RFQs, EOIs and tender documents to identify scope, eligibility criteria, submission formats and compliance requirements.
  • Prepare concise RFP summaries and requirement matrices for internal review and decision-making.
  • Draft, format and edit proposal sections including company profiles, capability statements, methodologies, timelines and supporting narratives.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders (research, finance, operations and leadership teams) to gather accurate inputs for proposals.
  • Support the development and maintenance of standard templates, boilerplate content and reusable proposal materials.
  • Ensure version control, document accuracy and adherence to submission guidelines and compliance criteria.
  • Assist in preparing presentations, cover letters, annexures and other supporting documents for submissions.
  • Track upcoming tenders and maintain an updated database of proposal opportunities.
  • Prepare submission checklists and verify that all mandatory documents are included before final submission.
  • Ensure timely completion and submission of drafts and final proposals in line with deadlines.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

  • Freshers or candidates with up to 12 years of experience in proposal writing, documentation, content writing or business development support roles.
  • Strong ability to read, understand and interpret technical and commercial documents.
  • Clear, structured and concise writing skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Basic proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and/or Google Workspace.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Strong coordination and follow-up skills with internal teams.
  • Curious mindset with a willingness to learn proposal processes and industry requirements.
  • Exposure to proposal preparation, tender portals or government / institutional bidding processes.
  • Basic understanding of project management or service delivery models.
  • Familiarity with document formatting standards, compliance checklists and proposal matrices.

Education:-Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Management, Marketing, Statistics or related field.
