Junior Production Engineer

Job Description

Title: Principal Engineer Experience: 4 years Reporting To: Manufacturing Head Education: B.E - Mechanical Role & Responsibilities: Managing the production planning of each of our product lines. Distribute drawings and BOMs to shops and prepare shop orders. Develop, Implement, Control and Review Production Plans. Set up daily, weekly, and monthly plans according to organizational needs. Planning of materials in time to prevent production halts. Get subassemblies from outside vendors. Create PR and get quotations from outside vendors. To provide timely input of materials, coordinate with projects, engineering, quality, and stores. Creating SMH sheets and distributing them to the shop manager. Updating SMH sheets for all jobs on the shop floor and maintaining data. Preparation of RPD and DPR sheets, and tracking of plan vs. actual. Ensure timely payment to outside vendors. Maintain records for all projects and data related to all projects. Participate in OTM. Assign material from stock to project. If no material is available from stock, raise a PR for the material and follow up. Coordination of preparatory activities and distribution of shop materials. Procurement of blasting and painting services. Before invoicing, the shop order must be closed after JCS has been completed. Address issues well in advance to minimize disruptions. Prepare for the placement of jobs in the shop before production begins.
