Job Summary

Junior Production Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Production Operations

• Assist in

  assembly of lithium battery packs

  (LFP / NMC) as per approved drawings and SOPs
• Monitor daily production targets and ensure timely completion
  
• Support

  cell arrangement, welding, BMS integration, insulation, potting, and enclosure assembly

• Ensure correct use of

  tools, jigs, fixtures, and safety equipment

Quality & Testing Support

• Coordinate with QC team for

  in-process and final inspections

• Assist in

  charging, discharging, balancing, and functional testing

• Identify defects, deviations, or repeated failures and report to seniors
  
• Ensure only

  QC-approved batteries

  move to finished goods

Documentation & ERP

• Maintain

  production logs, batch records, SO numbers, and test data

• Upload production & testing data to

  Zoho / ERP / Google Drive

• Ensure barcode scanning and traceability of material and finished batteries
  

Material & Inventory Coordination

• Coordinate with Stores for

  material issuance and return

• Ensure proper handling of

  cells, BMS, nickel strips, connectors, chargers

• Report material shortages, damages, or mismatches immediately
  

Safety & Process Improvement

• Follow

  lithium battery safety protocols

  strictly
• Ensure compliance with

  5S, ESD, and workplace safety norms

• Assist in continuous improvement, Kaizen, and productivity initiatives
  

Qualification Requirements

• Diploma / BE / BTech in

  Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Production Engineering

• Freshers or

  02 years experience

  in battery, electronics, or EV manufacturing preferred

Skills & Competencies

• Basic understanding of

  Lithium-ion / LiFePO batteries

• Knowledge of

  battery assembly, welding, BMS basics

  (preferred)
• Ability to read

  technical drawings & SOPs

• Basic computer skills (Excel, ERP/Zoho – preferred)
  
• Strong attention to detail and discipline
  
• Willingness to work on shop floor
  

Safety & Compliance

• Mandatory adherence to

  battery safety SOPs

• Use of

  PPE

  at all times on production floor
• Immediate reporting of safety risks or incidents
  

Work Environment

• Factory & production floor environment
  
• Standing and hands-on assembly work required
  
• Occasional overtime during peak production
