Junior Product Designer

The design studio Arjun Rathi Design, located in Mumbai, specializes in bespoke lighting design, focusing on creating fixtures and installations that enhance various environments illuminated by artificial light. The studio manages every project phase, from on-site visits and exploratory studies to design, technical drawings, production, and space atmosphere, with all final products and accessories being quality-certified in the studio's manufactory. As a Junior Product Designer at Arjun Rathi Design, based in Churchgate, Mumbai, you will be tasked with sketching detailed designs and creating visualizations using software tools such as Rhino, AutoCAD, and KeyShot. Your role will involve ensuring precision and adherence to project timelines throughout the design and production process, engaging with clients to understand their needs, developing proposals and quotations, and effectively presenting design concepts. You will also be responsible for upholding the brand's image through consistent quality and timely delivery of products and overseeing the production process to meet brand standards and client specifications. In addition to managing project documentation, you will need to acquire and apply in-depth knowledge of lighting technology for effective installation processes, coordinate installations, and deliver high-quality products that align with client expectations and organizational standards. The qualifications for this role include a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field, along with at least 2 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in design software, knowledge of lighting technologies and industry trends, as well as strong communication skills and an understanding of design principles and aesthetics are essential for this position.
