Role Description

This full-time, on-site role in Chennai is for a Junior Placement Coordinator. The coordinator will support the placement process, assist with arranging campus recruitment events, liaise with potential employers, and coordinate student placements. Responsibilities include ensuring effective communication between students and organizations, maintaining databases of job opportunities, and helping students prepare for interviews and employment transitions. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills are essential for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

• Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to build and maintain professional relationships
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with students and employers
• Customer service and problem-solving skills to ensure satisfaction for both students and recruiters
• Knowledge or background in education and recruiting processes to effectively facilitate placements
• Proficiency in organizational and administrative tasks, including maintaining accurate records
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required; experience in student affairs or recruitment is a plus
