Job Description

About the job: Key responsibilities: 1. Receive incoming shipments and verify their contents against purchase orders 2. Organize and maintain inventory storage areas for easy access and efficient picking 3. Implement inventory tracking systems to monitor stock levels and prevent stockouts 4. Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer specifications and shipping deadlines 5. Ensure accuracy and completeness of orders before dispatch to minimize errors and returns 6. Collaborate with logistics partners to schedule pickups and optimize delivery routes 7. Conduct regular quality checks on incoming and outgoing products to maintain high standards 8. Identify and report any product defects or damages to the appropriate teams for resolution 9. Implement corrective actions to prevent quality issues and improve overall product handling processes 10. Enforce safety protocols and procedures to create a secure work environment for all warehouse staff 11. Conduct regular safety inspections and address any hazards or non-compliance issues promptly 12. Provide training to warehouse personnel on safe handling practices and emergency procedures 13. Supervise and train warehouse staff to ensure proficiency in their roles and responsibilities 14. Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement within the warehouse team 15. Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize warehouse operations and maximize efficiency 16. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including logistics, procurement, and customer service to streamline workflows 17. Maintain daily Out Bound MIS reports and submit them on a daily basis to the management Requirements: 1. Hold a bachelor's degree or diploma in business administration, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field 2. Demonstrate proven experience working in warehouse operations or last mile delivery preferably in the e-commerce or retail sector 3. Possess strong understanding of inventory management principles and best practices including FIFO and 5S 4. Show excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively 5. Exhibit proficiency in using any warehouse management systems (WMS) 6. Display knowledge of health and safety regulations and experience implementing safety protocols in a warehouse environment 7. Demonstrate hands-on proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word 8. Be a competitive, self-motivated individual who is disciplined and goal-oriented 9. Show demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving 10. Possess good verbal and written communication skills 11. Exhibit strong organizational and time management skills 12.
