Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Medical Record Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for interpreting medical records and capturing relevant medical information data as per given instructions. The candidate must have basic knowledge on drugs, medical devices, common medical treatment procedures at Primary care, Secondary care or Tertiary care level in US healthcare. The Junior Medical Record Analyst must be able to interpret hand written notes of doctors and nurses and should be able to record the medical events chronologically and document the care of the patient. The candidate must be able to understand the concept of medical malpractice lawsuits and should be able to create Source List and Other Lists as instructed.

Job Responsibilities:

  • To interpret the medical records and capture relevant medical information data as per given instruction.
  • To capture information related to prior history and examinations and present the event at as per the case requirement.
  • Should have basic knowledge on drugs, medical devices, common medical treatment procedures at Primary care, Secondary care or Tertiary care level in US healthcare.
  • Should interpret hand written notes of doctors and nurses, If the physician did not document certain events / diagnostic test; the rationale for ordering diagnostic and other ancillary services should be inferred and reported to the Team Lead.
  • Should record the medical events chronologically and document the care of the patient.
  • To understand the concept of medical malpractice lawsuits, i.e. understanding- deviations in the standard of care- understanding who would have been responsible, when it would have had happened and what was the main damage out of it
  • Should create Source List and Other Lists as instructed.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Degree in BDS, Nursing, B-Pharm, D-Pharm, any Life Science and Health Information Management, Healthcare Administration or related field
  • 0-2 years of experience in medical records analysis or related field
  • Knowledge of US healthcare regulations and guidelines
  • Good understanding of medical terminology and knowledge of medical coding systems
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to accurately capture medical data
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work under tight deadlines
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of medical malpractice lawsuits
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new software systems and processes

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
