Junior Java Developer

Position: Junior Java Developer Experience: 1+ years Location: Gurugram Company: Antino Labs Job OverviewWe are looking for a motivated Java Developer with at least 1 year of experience or a strong educational background in software development. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of Java fundamentals and an eagerness to learn and grow under the guidance of senior developers. You will contribute to the development of scalable applications using Java 8+ and frameworks like Spring Boot, participating throughout the full software development lifecycle. Key ResponsibilitiesAssist senior developers in designing, developing, and testing Java applications using Java 8+ and frameworks such as Spring Boot. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, following best practices and coding standards. Participate in code reviews and learn from feedback provided by senior development team members. Work on assigned tasks and contribute to the full development lifecycle (under guidance). Troubleshoot basic technical issues and help resolve complex problems with mentorship. Stay updated on the latest trends, tools, and technologies within the Java ecosystem. Qualifications1+ years of experience (or strong educational background) in software development with a focus on Java. Solid understanding of core Java concepts (OOP, Collections, Generics, Exception Handling, etc.). Basic understanding of at least one Java web framework — Spring Boot preferred. Working knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) is a plus. Familiarity with version control systems such as Git is a plus. Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Eagerness to learn, adapt, and grow in a fast-paced work environment.
