Junior Geologist

Engineering Geologist Trainee/Intern

We are seeking motivated Engineering Geologist Trainee or Intern to join our geotechnical & Geological consulting team. This position offers hands-on experience in geological assessment, and engineering geology applications across diverse infrastructure projects.

Location:

• 2 Positions atBPC (Kolkata Office)

• 3 Positions atProject Sites (varied field locations)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with subsurface investigations including soil and rock sampling, and logging geological conditions
• Assist Geotechnical and Geological team.
• Contribute to slope stability analyses, foundation assessments, and geological hazard evaluations
• Prepare technical reports, cross-sections, and geological maps under supervision
• Collaborate with senior geologists and engineers on multidisciplinary projects

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field (recent graduates welcome)
• Strong foundation in geological principles, rock and soil mechanics, and hydrogeology
• Proficiency in geological software (GIS, AutoCAD, or similar) preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Physical ability to work in outdoor field conditions if required
