Job Description

Role Overview: As a Junior Fashion Designer at MITESH LODHA, you will collaborate with the design team to develop new product ideas based on research data. Your main responsibilities will include designing sketches for new products, testing fabrics, colors, patterns, and textures, and making field visits for marketing and vendor scouting. Additionally, you will communicate technical design information for samples, work on designing clothes for upcoming seasons, and select fabrics and trims. You will also create tech packs with detailed specifications, develop CAD and digital sketches, oversee the prototype sample process, and collaborate with the design team to create mood boards. Key Responsibilities: - Design sketches for new products - Test fabrics, colors, patterns, and textures - Make field visits for marketing and vendor scouting - Communicate technical design information for samples - Design clothes for upcoming seasons - Select fabrics and trims - Create tech packs with detailed specifications - Develop CAD and digital sketches - Oversee the prototype sample process - Collaborate with the design team to create mood boards - Create cost sheets and product lists Qualifications Required: - Diploma in Apparel or Fashion Designing (associate degree preferred) - Work experience in the Garment Industry focusing on Men's Wear - Proficiency in design software such as Affinity, Coral, Photoshop, or Illustrator - Minimum of 3 years of experience in merchandising or retail Additional Details: Location: Lower Parel Good interpersonal communication skills are essential for this full-time role.,
