Junior Engineer-Application

Job Title:

Job Responsibilities:

1. To determine proposal feasibility by checking customer RFQs.

2. To study and suggest design & system architecture as per the requirement of the customer and prepare the technical proposal.

3. To Prepare the project Bill of Material, approach vendors for quotations of the various elements.

4. To study the project scope, estimate schedule, cost of project, and prepare commercial proposal.

5. To do projects demo- presentation, trials (PoC) to customers.

6. To prepare the project management plan and involve in total project life cycle. Initiating, planning, execution, monitoring & control, and closing.

7. Programming of PLC, HMI, SCADA and front end developments.

8. To execute the project within schedule timeline and cost, coordinate with vendors to complete work done by within the timeline.

9. To coordination with internal departments of Omron to ensure the project application is executed and positioned effectively.

10. Prepare project handover documents of Electrical, Mechanical and Operation manual.

11. To provide technical support to customers, post project handover.

Submission of PM reports, success stories, & PoC document.Role & responsibilities

Job Requirements:

Work Experience: Minimum of 03 to 4 years of experience in project handling, application programming, Experience in installation & commissioning of Automation products like, HMI, PLC, SCADA, with experience of IOT and industry 4.0 project execution

Educational Qualification:

B.E in Electrical/ Electronics and Communication Engineer OR Equivalent Diploma

Functional Competencies/Skills:

Knowledge of Industrial Networking and communications, including DeviceNet, RS232, RS485, Modbus, ProfiBus, ProfiNet, Ethernet/IP, EtherCAT, etc.

Knowledge and experience in Industry 4.0, Digital transformation and IIOT projects.

Knowledge of SQL database design, SQL data handling through queries and report generation.

Knowledge of visualization platforms like Grafana, Power BI, Arc Stone or Visual Studio.

Knowledge of data collection from shop floor devices (PLC, Drive, data logger, NC Controller etc.) to database level.

Project management capabilities. i.e., Vendor Management, Project Planning, discussion with customers on project status, issues handling, change management, documentation, Slippages handling etc. 

Behavioral Competencies:

Good Communication & Presentation skills with an eye for details. 

Ability to work under pressure, target oriented and dedicate extra hours if needed on assignments.

Travel Requirement:

travel for project requirements
