About the Role

We are looking for a fresher (B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical Engineering) with strong skills in AutoCAD and similar design tools to join our solar engineering team. The candidate will support senior engineers in preparing layouts, drawings, and design documentation for large-scale solar PV projects.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to build a career in the renewable energy sector, starting with design support and gradually moving into full solar engineering roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and update AutoCAD drawings:
• Site layouts
• Single Line Diagrams (SLDs)
• Cable trenching and routing plans
• Module mounting structure layouts
• Support in preparing Bill of Quantities (BOQs) and technical documents.
• Assist in site survey data collection and drafting survey-based drawings.
• Work with senior engineers on solar design software tools (PVsyst, Helios3D, PVcase, etc.).
• Ensure drawings and documents meet project standards and accuracy requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (Fresher eligible).
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory).
• Familiarity with similar tools (Helios3D, SketchUp, PVcase, GIS tools) will be an advantage.
• Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint).
• Eagerness to learn solar-specific design tools and standards.
• Willingness to support both office-based design and occasional site-related tasks.

Key Skills

• AutoCAD & electrical drafting (must-have)
• Familiarity with solar/CAD tools like PVcase, Helios3D, or SketchUp (advantage)
• Basic electrical engineering concepts
• MS Excel for reporting and data management
• Accuracy, detail orientation, and good teamwork
