Role: Junior Audio Editor (Long-form Audio)

Experience: 1–3 years

• We’re hiring a Junior Audio Editor who can bring our audio content to life through crisp editing to craft immersive audio experiences for Arré Voice listeners.
• You’ll work closely with the show producer and marketing teams.
• This is a high-ownership, fast-paced role, perfect for someone early in their career who wants to grow in the audio storytelling space.

What You’ll Do

• Edit and assemble long-form audio episodes across fiction, non-fiction, conversational and narrative formats.
• Add background music, transitions, ambient sound design and SFX to elevate storytelling.
• Work closely with the producer to implement pacing, tone and creative direction.
• Clean up audio tracks: noise reduction, EQ, compression, leveling, fine-tuning performances.
• Prepare final mixes and masters for publishing on Arré Voice.
• Cut teasers, promos and trailers as required.
• Maintain organised project files, backups and versioning.
• Ensure timely delivery across multiple shows.

Skills

• Strong command of editing tools
• Basic to intermediate sound design skills: SFX selection, layering, creative use of ambience.
• Understanding of narrative flow, episodic storytelling and pacing.
• A collaborative mindset and willingness to take creative direction.
• Bonus (not mandatory): Experience in editing short form videos.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in audio/video editing
