Job Title: Cardiac Technologist (Non-Invasive) Department: Cardiology / Non-Invasive Cardiology Qualification: Diploma in Cardiac Technology (Non-Invasive) Experience: 0–2 years (Freshers can apply) Job Summary The Cardiac Technologist (Non-Invasive) will be responsible for assisting in non-invasive diagnostic procedures related to cardiac care. This includes performing and analyzing tests such as ECG, TMT, Holter monitoring, and Echocardiography under the supervision of cardiologists. The role demands precision, patient interaction, and knowledge of cardiac diagnostic equipment. Key Responsibilities Conduct non-invasive cardiac diagnostic tests including: Electrocardiograms (ECG) Treadmill Test (TMT) Holter Monitoring setup and retrieval Echocardiography assistance (as per local practice) Ambulatory BP monitoring Prepare patients for cardiac procedures, explain processes, and ensure comfort. Maintain and calibrate cardiac diagnostic equipment regularly. Record, store, and interpret cardiac test data accurately for physician review. Assist the cardiologist during stress tests and other procedures as required. Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to data confidentiality protocols. Ensure infection control and equipment hygiene as per hospital standards. Collaborate with nursing, technicians, and physicians to provide seamless patient care. Participate in continuing education and in-service training programs. Required Skills & Competencies Good knowledge of human anatomy and physiology with a focus on cardiovascular function. Proficiency in handling ECG, TMT, Holter, and related equipment. Strong communication and patient-care skills. Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively. Basic computer knowledge for data entry and reporting. Willingness to work in rotational shifts or extended hours if required. Preferred Attributes Certification or training in BLS (Basic Life Support). Experience in a cardiac centre or hospital setup is desirable.
