Junior Architect

A Junior Architect works under the supervision of senior architects or project leads and supports the design and execution of architectural projects. They are typically involved in the planning, drafting, modelling, and coordination phases.
Key Responsibilities:1. Design SupportAssist in developing conceptual and detailed architectural designsPrepare floor plans, elevations, sections, and other design drawingsSupport in preparing presentations and mood boards for clients or stakeholders2. Drafting & DocumentationCreate and revise technical drawings using CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD)Help prepare construction documents, including layouts, detailing, and schedulesEnsure designs comply with local building codes and regulations3. 3D Modelling & VisualizationDevelop 3D models using tools like SketchUp,D5 renderProduce rendered visuals and walkthroughs for client presentations4. Project CoordinationCoordinate with engineers, consultants, and contractors to ensure design intent is maintainedAttend site visits or meetings and record minutes or observationsAssist in preparing project reports and documentation5.
