altARQ collaborative is a consultancy practice centered on architecture and urbanism for The Global South. We merge multiple disciplines to design for problem-solving with a focus on r-urban resilience, inclusion, and spatial equity. Founded by Tunisha Mehta in 2019, altARQ operates from Patna and Delhi, working with the state government and international volunteers on urban studies exploration and implementation. Our work emphasizes deep contextual understanding and is anchored in the r-urban development of Bihar, India.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a BIM Civil Specialist located in Muscat. The BIM Civil Specialist will be responsible for coordinating BIM processes, working on architectural projects, managing Building Information Modeling (BIM) tasks, and ensuring the integration of Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) systems. Additionally, the specialist will handle submittals and ensure that project documentation is up-to-date and accurate.

Qualifications

• Experience in BIM Coordination and Building Information Modeling (BIM)
• Proficiency in Architecture and related disciplines
• Knowledge of Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) systems
• Experience with Submittals and project documentation
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Relevant Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field
• Experience in international and culturally diverse projects is a plus
