Junior AI / Data Analyst (Mathematics Graduate)

Role Overview

Aptlylabs is looking for an entry-level professional with a strong background in

Mathematics to join our AI and data engineering team at our Cochin office. This role is ideal

for recent graduates who enjoy analytical thinking and want to apply mathematical

concepts to real-world AI-driven systems.

You will work closely with senior engineers and architects on production AI projects,

gaining hands-on experience in data analysis, Python programming, and applied machine

learning.

Key Responsibilities

 Apply mathematical and statistical techniques to analyze datasets

 Assist in building and validating components of AI and analytics pipelines

 Write and maintain basic Python scripts for data processing and calculations

 Support AI/ML model experimentation and evaluation

 Work with structured datasets and participate in data-quality checks

 Document logic, assumptions, and findings clearly

 Collaborate with engineering teams in the Cochin office

Required Qualifications

 Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or a

related field

 Strong foundation in probability, statistics, and linear algebra

 Strong analytical and logical problem-solving skills

 Basic working knowledge of Python programming

 Willingness to learn AI, machine learning, and cloud-based data systems

 Good communication skills and teamwork mindset

Nice to Have (Optional)

 Exposure to Python libraries such as NumPy or Pandas

 Introductory understanding of machine learning concepts

 Familiarity with SQL or relational databases

 Academic or personal projects involving data analysis
