Job Description

Role Overview:

Techdefence Labs is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support our finance and accounting operations. In this role, you will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting tasks, assisting with GST and TDS compliance, maintaining financial records, and supporting month-end closing activities. The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of relevant experience, a solid grasp of accounting principles, and a proactive approach to financial accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform day-to-day data entries for Sales, Purchase, Payment & Receipts

Generate Purchase Orders (PO) and maintain records accordingly

Basic handling of GST and TDS processes

Proficient in managing accounting software like Tally and Zoho Books

Maintain accurate and updated ledgers and financial records

Handle email correspondence related to accounts and finance

Coordinate with vendors and internal departments for account-related queries

Qualifications & Skills:

1–2 years of relevant experience in accounting

Basic knowledge of GST and TDS

Hands-on experience in Tally and Zoho Books

Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and good email communication skills

Educational Qualification: BCom / BAF / CA Dropout / CA Inter
