Junior Accountant

Job Title: Accountant

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a **detail-oriented and experienced Accountant** to manage financial records, ensure accuracy in transactions, and oversee reconciliation processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for **journal entries, voucher preparation, petty cash management, and bank reconciliation** while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and financial regulations.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- **Bank Reconciliation Statement (BRS):**

- Perform **daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations** to ensure accuracy between bank statements and company records.

- Identify and resolve discrepancies in transactions.

- **Journal Entries:**

- Maintain **accurate financial records** by recording journal entries for all transactions.

- Ensure proper classification and reconciliation of accounts.

- **Voucher Preparation:**

- Prepare and manage **payment, receipt, journal, and contra vouchers**.

- Verify supporting documents and ensure compliance with company policies.

- **Petty Cash Management:**

- Maintain and reconcile **petty cash transactions**.

- Ensure proper documentation and approval for all cash expenses.

- **Accounts Payable & Receivable:**

- Process vendor invoices, manage payments, and track outstanding balances.

- Generate and issue invoices to clients and follow up on receivables.

- **Financial Reporting & Compliance:**

- Assist in preparing **monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements**.

- Ensure compliance with **tax regulations and accounting standards**.

- Bachelor's degree in **Accounting, Finance, or a related field**.

- **1-5 years of experience** in accounting roles.
