Junior Accountant

As a Junior Accountant at Anappadikkal Retail Ventures in Calicut, you will be responsible for assisting in various accounting functions to ensure accurate financial records and compliance with company policies and regulations. Key Responsibilities: - Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports. - Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts. - Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes. - Conduct financial analysis and assist in budget preparation. - Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards. - Provide support for audits and internal controls. - Collaborate with team members on special projects as needed. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Previous internship or entry-level experience in accounting is a plus. - Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word). - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. - Understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
