Junior Account Executive

Job Description: You will be supporting the Accounts & Finance department by performing routine clerical and accounting tasks such as database updating, reconciliations, preparing & maintaining reports, and completing basic book-keeping and accounting duties for the company. Additionally, you will assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings. You should be competent to perform multi-tasking financial, customer-oriented, and accounting office support duties, demonstrating strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks to meet tight deadlines. Key Responsibilities: - Supporting the Accounts & Finance department - Performing routine clerical and accounting tasks including database updating, reconciliations, preparing & maintaining reports - Completing basic book-keeping and accounting duties for the company - Assisting senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings - Demonstrating strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks to meet tight deadlines Qualifications: - Good command over spoken and written English language - Proficiency in email drafting - Proven experience for a minimum of 1 year as a junior account executive - Good with numbers and figures with an analytical acumen - Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices - Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software - Qualifications (B.com) is a plus but not required,
