Applications are invited for the Post of Junior Research Fellow for the Aeronautics R&D Board (AR&DB), DRDO, Ministry of Defence Funded Project Sanction Order No.: ARDB/PP/4348/2195, in Automotive Research Centre, School of Mechanical Engineering, Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore, Tamil Nadu, India.

Title of the Project

:

“Feasibility Studies to Enhance IC Engine Power Output at Higher Altitude by Incorporating a Suitable Turbocharger for Aircraft Application through Simulation and Experiments”.

Qualification

:

First-class in ME / M.Tech. (with specialization in Automotive Engineering or IC Engines)

Mandatory Skills

:

With a strong background in engine electronics and engine controller development and engine design. Experience in engine testing and data acquisition and processing is preferred.

Stipend

:

Rs. 37,000 pm + 8% HRA for two years (JRF) and Rs. 42,000 pm + 8% HRA for 3rd year (SRF) will be as per institute norms
