Jr. Chemist

Job Description

1. Maintain accurate record of analysis and perform documentation to company standards

2.Prepares and Reviews Test Procedures, SOP's and Protocols as assigned

3.Conduct routine quality control testing of carbon black as per ASTM / IS standards

4. Perform laboratory tests including OAN / DBP absorption, Iodine Adsorption Number (IAN), Tint Strength, Sieve Residue, Moisture, pH, Volatile Matter, and Ash content, solution preparation, chemical handling, and analytical testing.

5.Participate in MSA, Gauge R&R, and basic statistical analysis for quality improvement.

6.Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, safe working environment

7.Follow EHS, 5S, and GLP practices in a high-dust manufacturing environment. • Contribute to Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce errors and Manual handling

Requirements:

1.Graduate B.Sc/M.Sc in Chemistry

2.2-8 years of experience in a quality control laboratory,

3.Excellent written and verbal communication skills

4.Knowledge in Microsoft Office (such asMicrosoft Word, Excel, Power Point, & etc.),
