Description We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all costs related to building and civil engineering projects, from the initial calculations to the final figures. You will ensure that projects are completed within budget and in compliance with all regulations. Responsibilities Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects. Conduct feasibility studies to estimate materials, time, and labor costs. Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities. Negotiate contracts and resolve disputes with contractors and clients. Monitor project progress and update cost reports accordingly. Assist in the evaluation of change orders and variations during construction. Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Proficiency in quantity surveying software and tools, such as AutoCAD, MS Excel, and other relevant applications. Strong analytical and mathematical skills to assess project costs and financial risks. Excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders. Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations in India. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks effectively.
