Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to support the finance operations of our fast-growing e-commerce organization. The ideal candidate will assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, help maintain accurate financial records, and ensure smooth financial transactions across our online business platforms. Key Responsibilities Assist in recording daily sales, returns, and payment transactions across multiple e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Amazon, Flipkart, etc.). Review and process vendor invoices, purchase orders, and expense claims. Update general ledger entries and support month-end and year-end closing processes. Help prepare financial statements, management reports. Assist in GST filings, TDS, and other statutory compliance (based on region). Support audits by preparing necessary schedules and documentation. Maintain organized and confidential financial files and records. Collaborate with operations, warehouse, and customer service teams to resolve discrepancies. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 0–2 years of accounting experience; e-commerce experience is a plus. Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Proficiency in MS Excel; experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally) Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy. Good communication and time-management skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced and tech-driven environment.
