Accounts Payable and Receivable : - Process and manage invoices, ensuring timely payments. - Monitor outstanding payments and follow up with clients or vendors. - Reconcile accounts payable and receivable ledgers, ensuring accuracy. 2. Bookkeeping and Data Entry : - Maintain accurate records of financial transactions. - Post journal entries into the accounting system. - Record daily financial transactions and ensure compliance with company policies. 3. Financial Reporting : - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. - Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts. - Assist in preparing reports for management review, providing accurate financial data. 4. Bank Reconciliation : - Perform bank reconciliations on a regular basis to ensure the accuracy of financial records. 5. Tax and Compliance : - Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with local tax laws. - Prepare and file VAT/GST returns (if applicable). 6. Month-End and Year-End Closing : - Support the preparation of financial audits and liaise with auditors. 7. Support : - Provide support in financial analysis and decision-making processes. - Coordinate with other departments for budget-related queries or financial information. - Assist the Finance Manager in ad-hoc accounting and financial tasks as required. Qualifications Details 1. Education : - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Relevant accounting certifications are a plus. 2. Experience : - Minimum 2-4 years of experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably in a similar industry. 3. Skills and Competencies : - Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. - Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, SAP, or similar). - Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP). - Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 4. Create and implement Sales strategies and goals specifically targeting the MICE and Corporate sectors, ensuring alignment with the overall brand and business objectives. Analyse monthly P&L reports and performance metrics to identify deviations from the business plan, with a focus on improving the MICE and Corporate revenue streams. Lead and oversee all MICE-related sales activities ensuring the maximization of revenue in these key areas. Monitor and evaluate competitor performance, industry trends, and customer feedback within the MICE market to proactively adjust strategies and stay ahead of business demands. Develop and execute action plans to approach, secure, and build long-term relationships with potential corporate clients and MICE segments. Collaborate closely with the Sales & Marketing and Revenue teams to optimize the hotel’s overall performance and drive growth in the Corporate and MICE sectors. Qualifications Degree in Hospitality & Hotel Management/MBA in Hospitality Management. Minimum 8 years of experience of which at least 2 to 3 years in managing the corporate MICE and Travel Industry MICE. Strong relationship management, sales, influencing and negotiation skills. Strong leadership, interpersonal and training skills. Go-getter; comfortable taking ownership of projects and expanding scope of responsibilities. Excellent verbal and Written communication; analytical and reasoning skills; well versed with problem solving techniques. Experience of selling Goa Hotels or Leisure destination in Mumbai Market will be given weightage.
