Job Description We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Plant Manager to oversee the daily operations and sales activities at our Ready-Mix Concrete (RMC) Plant. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in plant management, operations, and business development within the construction materials industry. This role requires a hands-on leader who can drive operational excellence, ensure product quality, and achieve sales targets. Key Responsibilities Plant Operations Management: · Oversee all aspects of plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality control, logistics, and safety. · Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. · Monitor and optimize plant performance to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime. · Implement and maintain best practices for continuous improvement. Sales & Business Development: · Develop and execute strategies to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base. · Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, builders, and other key clients. · Prepare and present quotations, negotiate contracts, and close sales deals. · Identify new business opportunities and market trends. Team Leadership: · Lead, train, and motivate plant staff to achieve operational and sales goals. · Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and accountability. · Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback. Reporting & Budgeting: · Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly reports on production, sales, and inventory. · Manage plant budgets, control costs, and ensure profitability. Qualifications & Experience · Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field preferred. · Minimum 5 years’ experience in RMC plant operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. · Proven experience in sales and business development, preferably in the construction materials sector. · Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. · Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. · Proficiency in MS Office and plant management software.
