With prior experience in handling engineering and management departments, the incumbent will act as the bridge between academia and industry , ensuring students are employment-ready and the university maintains strong corporate partnerships. Key Roles & Responsibilities: 1. Strategic Leadership Design and implement a comprehensive placement strategy covering both engineering and management domains. Set annual placement goals and drive initiatives to achieve high placement percentages across all programs. Lead a team of placement officers, trainers, and coordinators to deliver results. 2. Corporate Relations & Networking Build, strengthen, and expand recruiter networks across core engineering, IT, manufacturing, consulting, BFSI, FMCG, and management sectors . Negotiate MoUs and long-term partnerships with industries for campus recruitment, internships, and live projects. Represent the university in corporate forums, HR conclaves, industry associations, and networking events to enhance visibility. 3. Placement Drive Management Plan, coordinate, and execute campus recruitment drives, ensuring a professional and transparent process . Align placement drives with industry calendars and student academic schedules. Ensure smooth logistics during campus recruitment (online/offline tests, interviews, GDs, pre-placement talks). Negotiate with recruiters on job roles, packages, and student career progression opportunities. Qualifications & Experience Master’s Degree (MBA / Engineering / Management or equivalent). 6+ years of progressive experience in placements. Proven track record of leading placements for Engineering & Management students in a reputed deemed-to-be university or higher education institution. Strong industry network with MNCs, corporate houses, and sector-specific recruiters. Pay Scale: All short-listed candidates will be offered remuneration on par with industry.
