Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Dispatch Supervisor to manage the Dispatch management systems. The Dispatch Supervisor oversees the dispatching operations to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient delivery of goods or services. This role is responsible for managing dispatch staff, coordinating schedules, resolving delivery or routing issues, and ensuring compliance with safety and company policies. Key Responsibilities: Reporting to Plant Manager. Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of dispatchers and drivers/operators. Monitor and assign routes, ensuring optimal resource utilization and timely deliveries. Track vehicle and shipment status using GPS and dispatch software. Proficient in dispatching systems, route optimization tools, and Microsoft Office. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and solve problems quickly. Knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation compliance. Preferred Certifications: Experience with dispatch software. Knowledge of commercial vehicle operations. Emergency or crisis management experience.
