Job Title: Project Manager, Healthcare Implementation

Overview

InterScripts is seeking a highly skilled and certified Project Manager with strong healthcare domain experience to lead, coordinate, and successfully deliver complex implementation projects for our clients. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in healthcare operations, system implementation, stakeholder management, and cross-functional project leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Execution

• Lead end-to-end project lifecycle activities for healthcare system implementations, including planning, scheduling, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, resource allocations, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including technical, clinical, operational, and vendor stakeholders.
• Ensure project deliverables meet scope, quality, compliance, and security requirements.
  

Healthcare Implementation Expertise

• Manage implementation of healthcare platforms such as EHR, ERP (e.g., Lawson/Infor), revenue cycle systems, Workday, or other clinical/operational healthcare solutions.
• Translate clinical/operational workflows into system requirements and implementation tasks.
• Facilitate process mapping, requirements gathering, and workflow validation with client teams.
• Provide oversight for data migration, integration, testing, and go-live readiness activities.
  

Stakeholder & Client Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication, expectation setting, and project updates.
• Lead regular status meetings, steering committees, and executive briefings.
• Manage client escalations, change requests, and decision logs.
• Build strong relationships with internal teams, vendors, and client leadership to support project success.
  

Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain project documentation, reports, risk logs, and communication plans.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, security standards, audit protocols).
• Support training coordination, post-go-live stabilization, and hand-offs to support teams.
  

Required Qualifications

• Certified Project Manager

  (PMP, CAPM, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
• 5+ years of project management experience, with

  at least 3 years in healthcare implementations

  .
• Demonstrated experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder healthcare projects.
• Strong understanding of hospital operations, clinical workflows, and healthcare IT environments.
• Experience with ERP or EHR implementations is highly preferred (Infor Lawson, Workday, Epic, etc.).
  

Skills & Competencies

• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Asana, Smartsheet, etc.).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across technical and non-technical teams.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with data migrations, integrations, and validation processes and projects.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulatory and compliance frameworks (HIPAA, HITRUST).
• Background in consulting or working with healthcare provider organizations.
