Job opportunity at Cotiviti For Team Lead Medical Coding (E/M Coding)

We are hiring for the role of a Team Leader for E/M Coding Team at Cotiviti Pune & Coimbatore

The Team Leader is a supervisor who manages the day to day operational activities of the production team. This includes ensuring that the team delivers as per set expectations while maintaining the required quality standards. The role involves day to day coordination with internal as well external teams. The Team leader is also required to analyze data and identify trends for performance & quality improvements

Educational Qualification

• Bachelors degree in any stream (preferably Life Science) with preferred CPC certification
• Or Medical degree (MBBS or BAMS or BHMS or B.P.Th/BPT) with preferred CPC certification

Experience requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in medical coding/ US Healthcare operations and minimum 2 years of experience as a Team Leader/ Team Coach.
• Experience in US Healthcare, medical coding, medical billing, RCM health plan operations strongly preferred.
• Possesses knowledge of healthcare claims payment policy and processing specifically CMS, Medicaid regulations, AAOS, ICD-9, CPT & HCPCS, etc.
• Practical clinical experience working in a hospital/office or nursing home strongly preferred.
• Has general knowledge of medical procedures, conditions, illnesses and treatment practices
• Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to think logically and process sequentially with a high level of detailed accuracy and efficiency
• Has excellent personal computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Be a quick learner and proficient in application of learnings
• Excel and power point proficiency
• Strong organizational skills and adaptive capacity for rapidly changing priorities and workloads
• Ability to work well independently and maintain focus on a topic for prolonged periods of time
