Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Working through Proprietary Tools & Technologies on state-of-the-Art Prodcuts for Automotive applications in the domain of ADAS, DMS and advanced exterior Lighting.
Preparing MCAD or mechanical drawing data of respective products.
Developing 3D models in close collaboration with Mechanical Engineers and other departments (EE, FEA, MFGE).
Generating manufacturing relevant data to be shared with manufacturing sites and suppliers.
Working with ECAD/CAD team for preparing PCB outlines and keep-out data before layout.
Supporting the design of housings and enclosures (visible and hidden) including the compilation of the relevant documents and files for serial production to supplier.
Support the execution of stack-up and tolerance analysis, thermal conductivity and mold flow analysis.
Support selection of appropriate materials for housings, fasteners and thermal conductive elements.
Meeting the quality Procedure/Standards for Design of Mechanical Components (assembly & part Level).
Working Knowledge of 2D drawing standards.

Preferred candidate profile

Minimum 3 years of working experience in Catia V5 (Part Design, Assembly design, Generative Shape design)
Experience in manufacturing of plactics and metal components and assembly of those in industrial level / mass production
5+ Years in Mechanical CA-Design in reliability industry (Military, Medical) or automotive
Experience in designing plastic, die-cast and sheet metal parts
Experience in Plactic/Prodcut Design
Experience in Leading Project/ Team
Good knowledge of GD&T
Knowledge of Stack-up analysis
Understanding of CAE simulations
Good knowledge of spoken and written English
