Job Description

Role & responsibilities Quality Management: Develop and implement field quality management strategies to ensure product quality meets or exceeds customer expectations. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and track field quality performance. Monitor field performance data and trends to identify areas for improvement and take proactive actions to address quality issues. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of field quality engineers and technicians, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning within the team. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to drive professional development and growth. Root Cause Analysis: Lead investigations into field quality issues, conducting root cause analysis to identify underlying causes and implement corrective and preventive actions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and customer support, to resolve quality issues effectively and efficiently. Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction. Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce defects, and improve overall quality performance. Implement best practices and quality standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Customer Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and concerns related to field quality issues. Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and expectations, and provide timely updates and resolutions to quality issues. Preferred candidate profile • Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, Agriculture, or related field; advanced degree preferred. • 5+ years of experience in quality management, with a focus on field quality or related areas. • Proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams and driving continuous improvement initiatives. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical issues to diverse audiences.
