Job Description

Role & responsibilities 1. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans for the Grow Out Test program in alignment with company goals and objectives. 2. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of Grow Out Test technicians and specialists, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities. 3. Experimental Design: Design and implement field trials to evaluate the performance of new agricultural products and technologies, including crop varieties, fertilizers, and pest control methods. 4. Field Operations: Oversee all aspects of field operations, including site selection, planting, maintenance, and harvest, ensuring adherence to protocols and best practices. 5. Data Collection and Analysis: Supervise data collection activities and ensure the accuracy and integrity of experimental data. Conduct statistical analysis and interpret results to inform decision-making and product development efforts. 6. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Research & Development, Product Management, and Marketing, to support product development initiatives and optimize product performance. 7. Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance processes to ensure that field trials are conducted according to established protocols and regulatory requirements. 8. Documentation and Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations summarizing experimental results, insights, and recommendations for internal stakeholders and external partners. 9. Budget Management: Manage the budget for the Grow Out Test program, including forecasting expenses, tracking spending, and optimizing resource allocation. 10. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation within the Grow Out Test program, driving efficiencies and enhancing productivity. Preferred candidate profile • Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, Agriculture, or related field; advanced degree preferred. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in agricultural research, field trials, or related roles. • Strong understanding of agronomic principles, crop physiology, and agricultural production systems. • Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to effectively manage and develop a team. • Proficiency in experimental design, statistical analysis, and data interpretation. • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills. • Experience with budget management and resource allocation. • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices for agricultural field trials. • Passion for agriculture, sustainability, and innovation Perks and benefits
