Description

We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Senior Jewelry Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have 5-15 years of experience in the job market context of India, with a strong portfolio of jewelry designs and a deep understanding of the industry. As a Senior Jewelry Designer, you will be responsible for leading the design process, from concept to finished product, and managing a team of junior designers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design process, from concept to finished product, for a wide range of jewelry collections
• Develop and maintain a strong understanding of industry trends and consumer preferences
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, merchandising, and marketing, to ensure designs align with business objectives and brand strategy
• Manage a team of junior designers, providing guidance and mentorship to help them grow professionally
• Create technical drawings and specifications to communicate design details to manufacturers
• Participate in product development meetings and provide input on manufacturing feasibility, cost, and quality
• Ensure all designs meet quality standards and are delivered on time and within budget

Skills and Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in jewelry design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of designs
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Jewelry Design, Fine Arts, or a related field
• Deep understanding of Indian jewelry design trends and consumer preferences
• Proficiency in 2D and 3D design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino, and Matrix
• Experience with technical drawing and specification creation with T-spline & Sub D (Zbrush optional)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead a team and work cross-functionally
• Attention to detail and ability to ensure designs meet quality standards
• Experience in managing a team of junior designers is a plus
