As a Jewellery Sales Associate in Chennai, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and driving sales of fine and fashion jewellery pieces. Your responsibilities will include: - Greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner - Providing in-depth knowledge of jewellery products, including diamonds, gemstones, metals, and trends - Guiding customers through the selection and purchasing process with a consultative approach - Maintaining visual merchandising and store displays to reflect current promotions and seasonal offerings - Processing transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system - Handling jewellery with care and ensuring security measures are followed - Building and maintaining customer relationships through follow-ups and clienteling - Achieving individual and store sales targets and KPIs - Assisting with stock management, inventory checks, and replenishment - Staying updated on new product lines and jewellery industry trends Qualifications required for this role include: - Previous retail or sales experience, preferably in luxury or jewellery - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Passion for fashion and jewellery with a keen eye for style and detail - Ability to work well in a team and independently - Basic computer and POS system knowledge - High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in sales or gemology is a plus The company offers competitive salary and commission structure, staff discounts, ongoing training and development, and opportunities for career advancement.
