JEWELLERY ACCOUNTANT, MMI SOFTWARE

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Accountant with proven experience in the jewelry industry, and hands-on expertise in both MMI Software and Tally ERP. The ideal candidate will manage financial transactions, inventory, and compliance with precision, especially in relation to precious metal and gemstone inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day accounting tasks including billing, invoicing, journal entries, bank reconciliation, and ledger maintenance.
• Maintain and manage gold, diamond, and gemstone inventory using MMI Software.
• Record and reconcile all financial data in Tally ERP 9 or Tally Prime.
• Prepare and file GST, TDS, and other statutory returns accurately and on time.
• Reconcile customer and vendor accounts regularly.
• Monitor bullion and ornament stock movement and maintain cost tracking.
• Generate accurate financial reports such as P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2–3 years of accounting experience in the jewelry industry.
• Proficient in MMI Software (specific to jewelry inventory and billing).
• Expert-level knowledge of Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime.
• Good understanding of inventory accounting for precious metals/stones.
• Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and other tax compliance.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage confidential data responsibly.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,521.75 - ₹35,000.00 per month
